The Swift Point team have previously worked on projects usingMicrosoft .NET, Classic ASP and PHP. We're not showing off, we justwanted to make it clear that the decision to use PHP 5 for Swift Pointwas not an arbitrary one. We wanted Swift Point to be as portable aspossible, so we wanted to choose a development language that works wellon any server. We also wanted to select a language that's widelyunderstood and respected in the open-source community.
Theclass-based approach to Swift-Engine makes it highly customisable andeasy to extend. There are separate modules for data-access, business-logic and presentation.Swift Point Content Management System
