How Do I Edit My Site Using Swift Point?
You can edit your website by signing in to a special administration console online. This gives you access to all of the functions you need to manage your website, including adding pages, changing content and setting up plug-ins like shops, news and forms.
What Can I Edit Using Swift Point?
You have control over every aspect of your website. You can add and remove pages and change the text and images contained within the content area of each page. You can also set up image galleries and upload pictures to them, create news, event listings, blogs, online forms and shops.
You can set up Swift Point to use the standard or extended editing tool bar. The standard tool bar ensures that you don't "break" the design of the site and prevents the default typeface, style, size and colours from being overwritten - this makes it easier for you to change your theme in the future. The extended tool bar allows you to change these values.
What Happens If I Make A Mistake?
When you change a page, the previous version is stored. You can browse the version history of your website to see old versions of your pages, including changed and deleted pages. If you make a mistake, you can simply revert to using a previous version of your page.
Can I Change The Design?
Swift Point contains a template engine that allows you full control of the design. When you set up a Swift Point account, you can opt to use one of the styles in our template gallery or a custom design. If you already have a website, your existing design can be converted to run on the Swift Point Content Management System.
How Do I Accept Online Payments?
The Swift Point Shop Plug-In can be linked to a Google Checkout account. All you have to do is let us know your Google Merchant ID. We'll link the ID to your Swift Point account and pass your customers to Google, along with their shopping basket, when they're ready to pay.
